NEWBORNS

The best Newborn sessions are those that take place within the first 10 days after birth.  Babies are more flexible to pose and they change so quickly, you really want to capture the newborn feel with these.  This is the perfect time to capture those angelic sleeping poses.  Most of the favorite baby images are of naked baby with very little props.  Although if you have something that is sentimental I will be sure to get that in the image also.  

I offer newborn sessions with just the baby and newborn sessions with the family also.  Newborns can be very unpredictable and it can take some time to capture that perfect pose.  Keeping newborns warm is very important as they aren't able to control their body temperatures well yet, I have small heaters that I use to keep baby warm and me sweating!!  They sleep so nicely too with the heat surrounding them and we get those perfect naked shots.  Newborns take time and often need breaks, I try my best to allot plenty of time so that I am able to capture as much as possible of newborns.

Photographing kids is so much fun.  Adding bright lively outfits makes things even better.  With kids have some additional outfits ready.  Have the kiddo's bellies full and ready to play.  I like getting the group pictures first as they can quickly get tired out with that idea and not sit still.
